I have the honour to transmit, in accordance with

Colonial Regulation No.354, copies of the following financial

returns for the year 1939:-

An abstract account of the total revenue and

expenditure of the year under each head of receipt

and payment, showing the opening and closing

balances in both the Accountant General's and

Crown Agents' accounts.

Detailed statements of revenue and expenditure,

arranged according to sub-heads.

A statement of the expenditure on works and other

payments chargeable to loan accounts.

A statement of assets and liabilities at the close

of the year.

A statement of the public debt of the Colony,

showing the several amounts of the loans issued

and of their respective sinking funds.

As there were no investments of this Government at

the close of the year nor is there a government savings bank

there is nothing to report under Colonial Regulation No.354

(vi) and (vii).
